Overview of the TinyTools Project

TinyTools is an in-house SaaS initiative developed under the Skwigl Digital brand. The goal was to create a suite of simple, no-login web tools to help small business owners, freelancers, and marketers understand and improve their online presence via simple SEO improvements. Each tool focuses on clarity and speed, replacing bloated dashboards and jargon-heavy SEO platforms with quick, plain-English feedback. The first release included two tools: an SEO Report Generator that analyses websites in seconds, and a Blog Idea Generator that creates tailored content ideas by niche and location. This project was about more than just building tools. It was about creating a proof of concept for how well-designed micro-SaaS products can deliver real value without complexity or subscription models.

Our Approach

Design & Development

TinyTools was designed and built entirely in Framer, with custom React components and lightweight logic layers written in Zoho Creator (Deluge) to process and interpret results. The platform was engineered to be modular, allowing each tool to live independently while sharing a unified brand and UX.

User Experience Focus

The interface was designed with clarity and accessibility in mind. Every output, from SEO reports to blog ideas, is written in straightforward, everyday language that small business owners can actually understand and act on.

Brand & Positioning

Rather than marketing TinyTools as a standalone SaaS brand, it sits as a sub-brand of Skwigl Digital, showcasing the agency’s technical and product-design capabilities. It doubles as both a lead-generation tool and a portfolio project demonstrating practical, working prototypes.

Key Results & Metrics

While early-stage, TinyTools has already shown strong engagement and conversion results:

Phase 1: Core MVP Build

Developed two initial tools (SEO Report + Blog Ideas) using Framer and Zoho Creator, focused on simplicity and reliability.

Phase 2: Brand & Design

Designed a lightweight identity, clean UI, and messaging centred around “clarity over complexity.”

Phase 3: Conversion Optimisation

Added integrated lead-capture forms and report downloads to support Skwigl’s inbound marketing funnel.

Phase 4: Expansion (Planned)

New tools in development, including a keyword suggestion tool, on-page grader, and structured data checker.

Ongoing Development & Next Steps

TinyTools continues to evolve as both a functional SaaS product and a case study in lean product development. The next phase will focus on expanding the tool library, refining the data logic, and testing conversion-driven UX improvements.

This project showcases the versatility of Framer for product-grade web apps and the ability to connect Zoho Creator for practical, automated back-end functionality.
